Project 5! This is definitely an improvement from my last project.For this one i used 3 different self created synths on Sytrus. (2 serperate saw waves and 1 sine wave) the beginning is introduced with some slow kick for a short while until the first saw wave comes in on a low cut off in long notes. As the kicks progress the cut off is gradually brought up at a steady rate with a noise build right at the end of the saw build. Right after it the other saw begins to play along with a more shrill high pitched note that goes up and the down quickly because of a noise envelope. This note echos for a bit and comes in as single hits throughout the song. This progresses until a final noise build at the end of it all followed by one more shrill note that ends the song.

I'm taking a break from project 5 because at this point I keep over thinking things and its messing with my creativity.

Project 4! For this project I used SimSyth to make a beginning riff that was then overlapped with a more sustaned note I made on Poizon. Throughout this i had a constant kick patteren going. The SimSynth eventually fades out and the kick drops off leaving just the Poizon until the kick begins again. After the kick starts again another lead made off the same SimSynth sound comes in and is altered with the X-Y controller. The Poizon had been altered with the fruity filter. At the end of the song everything fades out until it is just kick.

 

This is project three! For this project I used SimSynth to make a bass line that carried on throughout the entire song. I brought the song in with an FPC drum beat until a breakdown where a synth lead that i made with SimSynth comes in. The drum beat continues throughout the song. I transposed the Lead down an octave and then back up where it faded out leaving on the Bass and drums. The song ends by the drums dropping and the bass plays the last few notes in its loop.

I haven't fully completed project 3 yet but it is coming along pretty well. I have a bass line set down that i made using SimSynth and also has a drum beat with it that I got from FPC. I'll be able to get it up before next friday but i was having a large case of "writers block" for a lead to add on.

Just something I threw together in some of my spare time. Alittle bit of constructive critisism would be nice.

Second Project and alot more time was put in. I started out with some kick i made using "Fruit Kick". It starts off slow with the beat and picks it up before the synth I had chopped comes in. The kick continues until a slight build up for a slight drop. A small interlude part I added was the countdown that started off the patterns again. Partial way through the second half I transposed the synth patter down and the back up. It then builds up again to the end.

This is my First project that i kept to a simple kick and snare pattern with some high hat patterns. The song originated from some playing around with my own FL studio at home (only demo version). There was a lot of trial and error to form the beat but i think it worked out well. It starts with a simple kick pattern with high hats put more in the back of the song. After a short build up the the song brings snare in and changes up the high hat pattern while adding a bit more to the bass kick. It ends on the first pattern with a slightly changed kick pattern and fades out until it is just the kick remaining.
